The 2018 AMOS Art Competition is now open for entries! This year, we are on the lookout for creations imagining a weather-powered world.
AMOS invites students from Preschool to Grade 9 to submit an artwork illustrating how they imagine weather can power anything. This can be in a real, or a fictitious, world, country, town or city.
We are looking for creative ideas for harnessing the power of the weather, and how this can be helpful in our daily lives. Can you draw a solar-powered robot that recycles milk cartons to make a dog-house? How about a solar and lightning-powered train network? No idea is too small, or too big!
The competition is open to all Australian school students (class or individuals) in the following categories:
Prep to Grade 2
Grade 3 to Grade 6
Year 7 to Year 9
We’re giving prizes to individual students (or classes) AND their schools!
1st prize: $200 to the winner/class, and $250 for their school
